Kelly Marages is a writer and editor based in Hudson, NY and NYC. She has worked in magazine publishing for more than a decade, and is currently serving as Executive Editor of Us Weekly. Prior to Us, she worked as an editor at Marie Claire and Shape magazines.
As a freelance journalist, Kelly has written for a variety of publications. She's been published in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, Men's Health, Redbookmag.com, Vulture.com, MentalFloss.com, and other websites and magazines. She's also a ghostwriter, whose latest nonfiction proposal sold to Harper Wave, and a copywriter with clients in the educational, financial, retail, and beauty industries.
Kelly holds an MFA in creative writing from Bennington College. Her fiction has been published in Bridge Eight, Coda Quarterly, Crack the Spine, Selfish, and Hayden’s Ferry Review, where her story placed second in the 2016 Flash Fiction contest.
